Core Temperature Measurement

As part of a study on thermoregulation, Hugh and Buffett have been trained to have their temperatures taken. A 70-cm probe is used to measure internal body temperature throughout their digestive system. By using such a long probe, researchers can see if there are any changes in temperature from one part of the body to another, such as around specific organs. The information from the probe is read by a computer.
