Caloosahatchee River:
The Caloosahatchee project has been designed to study the nutrient and phytoplankton dynamics within the Caloosahatchee River, FL. Whole water samples for the determination of nutrient concentrations and phytoplankton community composition using high performance liquid chromatography and chemotaxonomic evaluation will be collected at 6 stations on a seasonal basis. Surface hydrography will also be monitored using a SeaBird Seacat 19 CTD in flow through mode. The hydrography is presented below.
