2002:
Four days of ship time (September 3-6, 2002) aboard the R/V Suncoaster were scheduled for research pertaining to blooms of the red tide organism Karenia brevis. Moderate blooms of Karenia brevis were found on the west Florida continental shelf during this cruise, one offshore of St. Petersburg, FL and one offshore of Sarasota. Hydrographic conditions were continuously monitored at the surface throughout this cruise and images of these data are presented below.
