Paid internship opportunity in Elasmobranch Physiology (Updated on 9/28/2004)

A paid, part-time internship is available in the Elasmobranch Physiology and Environmental Biology Program of the Center for Shark Research during Fall 2004. The intern will assist research staff in studies on the hormonal regulation of reproduction in sharks and rays and conduct an independent research project on a related topic.  Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in science at a local College or University and have interest in non-behavioral physiology, biochemistry, and/or molecular biology of sharks and their relatives.

The intern will receive a stipend of $150 per week for a 20-hour work week.  Hours are flexible, depending on student availability.
