MARINE OPERATIONS
|
Several boats are based at the Summerland Key facility, ranging from 17' to 25',
allowing TRL staff to conduct field operations year-round throughout the
Florida Keys. The R/V Eugenie Clark (46'), based year-round at Mote's main facility in Sarasota, is also available by special arrangement for extended offshore operations in the Keys. For non-Mote visiting scientists wishing to use their own vessels, ample dock space is available, and rentals of small
boats for user-operation can also be arranged and dock space provided.
